Purchasing the lamp from the same place you bought the TV is not a good option as this may cost more.
You can replace the lamp yourself in some of the models as it is quite simple and all you have to do is turn some screws. However, the process is trickier in other models and it is better to engage an expert. You'll know this when you consult the manual which comes with the TV.
