How do I get my old stereo system to work with my LCD TV and PS3?

Question:
I have this old stereo system with a 5 CD changer, tape deck, radio, etc... It's from the 90s, so it can only connect with composite cables. I'm able to connect it to my TV, but how would I get the sound to work since I connect to my HD dish receiver and PS3 with an HDMI cable?


Answer: Most LCD Tvs have an rca audio output. I would just connect everything to the tv and connect the audio output to the stereo. You should go through the options on your TV and make sure audio out is enabled and the built in speakers are turned off.

The Good:

The sound effects are stunning and the complete system looks very appealing. It is quite easy to operate and is available at a reasonable cost. The parental lock control is a very convenient feature. The subwoofers have a tuner port, contributing towards a deeper bass.

The Bad

It is not completely wireless. This could be considered as a drawback by some who are averse to messy wires behind the system.
